RentLaunch is operated by Polsia, Inc. ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our direct booking platform and related services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information from Property Managers

When you register as a PM, we collect:

• Name, email address, phone number, and company information
• Business registration details and Stripe Connect account information
• Property listings, photos, descriptions, and pricing information
• Content you create using AI tools on the platform

1.2 Information from Guests

When you make a booking or browse properties, we collect:

• Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
• Booking details (check-in/out dates, number of guests, property)
• Payment information (processed via Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
• Communication with property managers via the platform

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you access the platform, we automatically collect:

• IP address, browser type, and device information
• Pages viewed, time spent, and clickstream data
• Referring URLs and search terms

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process bookings and transmit payments to property managers
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, and customer service communications
• Display property listings and search results
• Provide AI-powered tools for content generation
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations
• Improve and develop new features

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in these circumstances:

• With the PM: Guest booking details are shared with the property manager to fulfill the reservation.
• With Stripe: Payment data is processed by Stripe. Their privacy policy applies to payment handling.
• Service providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate the platform (hosting, email delivery, analytics).
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the new entity.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. PM booking records are retained for at least 7 years to comply with tax and financial reporting requirements. You may request deletion of certain data as described below.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to or restrict certain processing

• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption (TLS), access controls, regular security audits, and secure data centers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

RentLaunch is based in the United States. If you are accessing the platform from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We use Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms for international data transfers where required.

9. Children's Privacy

The platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@getrentlaunch.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide notice via email to registered users.
