Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RentLaunch platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, property managers ("PMs"), and guests who use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RentLaunch provides a direct booking platform that allows vacation rental property managers to list their properties, accept reservations directly from guests, and manage the guest experience — all without paying Online Travel Agency (OTA) commissions such as Airbnb or VRBO fees.

The Service includes: property listing and search, booking management, payment processing via Stripe, guest communication tools, and reporting dashboards for property managers.

3. Accounts and Registration

Property Managers: You must register for an account and complete the onboarding process before listing properties. You represent that all information provided during registration is accurate and current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Guests: You may browse properties and make bookings without creating an account, but you must provide accurate contact and payment information to complete a booking.

4. Property Listings and Accuracy

PMs are solely responsible for the accuracy of their property listings, including descriptions, photos, pricing, amenities, and availability. RentLaunch does not independently verify listing accuracy. PMs agree to maintain current and accurate listings and to promptly update availability based on real-world status.

RentLaunch reserves the right to remove or suspend listings that violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. Bookings and Payments

Bookings made through RentLaunch are direct agreements between the guest and the PM. Payment is processed via Stripe and transmitted to the PM's connected Stripe account, minus RentLaunch's service fee (currently 2% of the booking total).

Cancellation policies are set by each PM and are displayed on the property listing before checkout. Guests should review cancellation policies carefully before confirming a booking.

RentLaunch is not a party to the booking agreement between guest and PM. Disputes between guests and PMs regarding bookings should be resolved directly between the parties.

6. Fees and Charges

PMs: A service fee of 2% of the booking subtotal is deducted at the time of payment. Additional fees (cleaning fees, service fees, taxes) are set by the PM and displayed at checkout. RentLaunch fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Guests: No platform fee is charged to guests. Total price is displayed at checkout and includes all PM-configured fees and taxes.

8. Intellectual Property

The RentLaunch platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and content, is owned by Polsia, Inc. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute RentLaunch's intellectual property without authorization.

PMs retain ownership of their property listings, photos, and content. By posting content on the platform, PMs grant RentLaunch a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. RENTLAUNCH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

RENTLAUNCH DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR PROPERTY DESCRIPTIONS, AVAILABILITY, PRICING, AND THE CONDUCT OF PMs OR GUESTS. PMs ARE INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES AND RENTLAUNCH DOES NOT ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE ANY PM's SERVICES.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENTLAUNCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN ANY EVENT, RENTLAUNCH's TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO RENTLAUNCH IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentLaunch, Polsia, Inc., and their respective officers, directors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

13. Termination

RentLaunch reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users. PMs may cancel their account at any time by contacting support.

14. Changes to Terms

RentLaunch may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered PMs and posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
